Provably Fair
Charts follow a provably fair scheme
This means price ticks cannot be changed after generation:
- Before the token expires, we publish a hash that locks the original data
- When the token expires, we reveal the salt and the full set of prices (ticks) so anyone can verify correctness
- We cannot change prices retroactively because the hash is already published
- Anyone can independently confirm that the disclosed data matches the published hash
What this does NOT prove
The scheme proves that the price series was not changed after the commit — and only that. It does not prove that the series was generated by the declared mathematical model with the declared parameters. Formally, the platform could generate a series any way it likes, commit to it, and honestly reveal it.
To close that gap we publish aggregated statistics over ended tokens: the distribution of log returns against the theoretical one for each mode, sample volatility against the declared sigma, and the share of tokens that closed above and below their start price. This makes swapping the model statistically detectable. We will not promise more than the scheme actually delivers.
Fairness Info
- Hash — always available (hash of the original data)
- Speed — always available (ticks per second)
- Salt — available only after the token expires
- Copy Prices — copies all prices; available only after the token expires
- Verify Fairness — runs verification; available only after the token expires
How the Fairness Hash Is Generated
const fairHash = ethers.hashMessage(
ticksString + fairSalt + speedTicksInSecond,
);- ticksString — string of all generated prices (comma-separated)
- fairSalt — secret string (revealed after the token expires)
- speedTicksInSecond — number of ticks per second
